Home Sweet Home

Nate and I live in a 5-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home in Tempe, AZ.  We currently use the extra rooms as a workout room and guest rooms but we are anxious to make them baby rooms and kid rooms. Our  home is an open floor plan with tile and wood floors throughout and our big family room is just that...one big room perfect for playing and wrestling around, hosting family functions or parties and  youth-group events, and there is plenty of space for dancing around and playing games.  Nate bought this home before we were married and excelled at making upgrades which include removing some walls to give it an open and roomy feel.

Our backyard is perfect for kids to play outside completely closed in with brick wall, has a nice big square grassy area on the west side, and a swimming pool on the east, a covered patio the whole length of the back of the house, and a garden in the making (it my new project).  We have a grapefruit tree in our backyard and January and February breakfasts are full of fresh squeezed Grapefruit juice because we get so many. We have a fat palm tree in the front yard that reminds me of a pineapple and it's my favorite tree on the street.
^ the crazy pineapple!

Our home is within walking distance of two elementary schools, the junior high school and high school. Although we are nicely tucked into a quiet neighborhood, we are close to anything you could need: dance studio, yoga studio, art studio, pet store, gas station, shopping & grocery, a book store with story time, a gym, many restaurants and an Urgent Care.  We live down the street from a beautiful kid-friendly park and can't wait to take our children there to play.  We love our home and our location, and we plan to fill this home with the laughter of children.
